A Personal Note on the Exciting New Chapter for the Studio

Announcement!

After eight wonderful years of clay-covered hands, creative exploration, and a growing community of artists, it’s time for the studio to begin a new chapter. As of July 1st, we are excited to announce that our pottery studio is changing ownership and relaunching under a new name: Center Centre.

A Fond Farewell and New Beginnings

For me (Brielle) founding The Form Collective has been a dream come true. From the very beginning, this space has been all about connection — connecting with clay, with each other, and with our creative potential. It has been an absolute joy to watch the studio grow from a simple idea into a rich community of artists and makers.

As I step into a new chapter of my life, I couldn’t be more thrilled to pass the torch to someone who understands that same heart — and who is excited to carry it forward with renewed focus. That person is Sarah Noel, an experienced ceramicist and educator who has been deeply involved in communal pottery spaces for years.

Why the Change?

Change is often bittersweet, but it’s also essential for growth. After years of nurturing this space, I felt it was time for a new direction — not just for me, but for the studio as well. Sarah brings a fresh, passionate vision to Center Centre, with an even greater focus on education, hands-on learning, and workshops.

With Sarah’s expertise in managing creative spaces and building community, I know the studio’s mission will thrive under her leadership. The heart of the space — its welcoming atmosphere and the collaborative spirit — will stay the same, but the future of the studio will offer exciting new opportunities for everyone who walks through the door.

What’s Changing and What’s Staying?

One of the things I’m most excited about is how Center Centre will evolve. While the studio will continue to provide limited space for artists to work independently, Sarah’s focus will be on increasing educational opportunities. This means more classes and more workshops for members of the community to get involved. Although the name is changing, the studio will continue to foster creativity, exploration, and community where people of all skill levels are welcome.

The Future of Center Centre

With Center Centre, Sarah will be creating a space that’s not just about the art of pottery, but about the art of learning together. Whether you’re a seasoned potter or a beginner, this will be a space for you to grow, experiment, and find your own creative voice.

Center Centre’s official launch will happen later this summer — I encourage you to sign up for their newsletter to get updates!
