Community Pottery Studio Welcomes New Ownership, Continues Mission with Expanded Educational Focus

Burlington, VT — After eight meaningful years of clay, community, and creativity, The Form Collective is entering a new chapter. Beginning July 1st, the beloved South End pottery studio will transition ownership to local ceramicist and educator Sarah Noel and relaunch under a new name: Center Centre.

Located in the vibrant South End Arts District at 180 Flynn Avenue, the studio will continue to serve as a welcoming space for pottery lovers of all skill levels. While the name is changing, the spirit remains the same.

Founder Brielle Rovito shares, “Creating The Form Collective has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s now time for me to begin a new chapter — and I couldn’t imagine a better person than Sarah to carry this space forward. Her vast experience with communal studios and passion for ceramics education will serve the community beautifully.”

Sarah Noel, a familiar face in Vermont’s ceramics scene, brings years of teaching, studio management, and creative leadership. As the new steward of the space, Sarah plans to build on its strong foundation while introducing more opportunities for classes, workshops, and learning. Memberships will still be available on a limited basis, but the studio's focus will shift more intentionally toward education and creative exploration.

“I’m honored to step into this role and help the space evolve into its next iteration,” Sarah said. “Center Centre will be an inclusive space where folks of all skill levels and backgrounds can share in the magic of clay, explore their creativity, and build community.”

In this transition, Brielle will continue to nurture her personal practice, Dust + Form, allowing it to evolve naturally in her next season of life.

As for the studio itself, the transition will begin July 1st with a full launch of Center Centre to follow later this summer.

Brielle adds, “To everyone who has been a part of The Form Collective — thank you. Your creativity, energy, and presence have shaped this space in countless ways. I can’t wait to see how it continues to grow.”
